Monica is a southern gal at heart with an accent to match and a long work history in real estate. She graduated from Texas A&M University with an English degree and a minor in Real Estate Finance. Still married to her high school sweetheart Jack, they have called Minnesota home for the past 30 years and have three grown sons who all still reside in the Twin Cities Area. Before joining Katey Bean & Company Monica worked under an appraiser, with a relocation company, and as a solo real estate agent for several years.

A couple of years ago, Monica downsized from their family home in South Minneapolis to a one-story, mid-century home in West Bloomington. She has a passion for interior design and has taken her time to completely redecorate her new home. Her joy in interior design and crafting a house into a home sparked her return to working in Real Estate. Monica now works as a showing agent with Katey Bean & Company, where she utilizes her extensive background in client services and real estate knowledge. She takes pleasure in helping create the opportunity for clients to fall in love with their new homes.

When not showing homes for Katey Bean & Company Monica can be found traveling. She enjoys exploring the United States in her Airstream and traveling internationally. She has particularly loved her voyages to Ireland, Iceland, and Japan. She spends much of her time at home baking cookies, reading, and cuddling with her 11-year-old retriever mix named Honey.
